What is StretLaw™ ‘Blawg of the Month’?

Each time a Blawg is posted by a contributor, or on behalf of a contributor, it is automatically entered into the competition.

The rules are simple. The last day of the month, the Blawg with the most comments or ‘likes’ will win £50.00 in vouchers to be exchanged for law books, courtesy of Routledge Law. Readers are encouraged to comment, as feedback for the author is always welcomed, if you simply do not have the time, please ‘like’ it to show your appreciation to the author.

You can come back and comment more than once, as long as it is a reply to a question, but please do not comment several times in one instance when it could have been put in one paragraph! (this makes administration easier more than anything). Debates are encouraged.

‘Hoodies for Hits’

The Blawg that receives the most hits (views) is awarded a StretLaw™ hoodie, and the Blawg with the second most hits, wins a StretLaw™ Polo Shirt, both sponsored generously by LexisNexis.

Note: No blawg will be able to win more than one prize simultaneously. Prizes are non-negotiable.

If you want a chance at winning a prize and have not yet Blawgged at StretLaw™, what are you waiting for? Find out how and why you should Blawg at StretLaw™ here.

If you enjoy writing, there are always opportunities available for the right candidate; your blawg is read by hundreds, so make it count!

Deadline

Voting closes midnight 30 April with the winner announced on Tuesday 1st May 2012.

Please note: Editor-in-Chief has co-founded and is on the panel of a legal education debate 3rd May. Expect announcements regarding winners to be made 7 May 2012.

Remember, it’s a legal site, so here are some basic Caveats:

Encourage your friends, peers or colleagues to look at your Blawg and comment or ‘like’ it.

RT like you’ve never RT before! Hits mean Prizes, and Prizes make you feel cosy!

Note: If you wish for your Blawg not to be automatically entered into the competition, please be explicit when contacting StretLaw™ with your submission.

Anonymous blawgs are not ordinarily posted at StretLaw™ unless a genuine reason is submitted for consideration by all Editors. Final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief.

The winning Blawg will be used, via @legalacademia and @StretLaw_co_uk, to promote the site, its sponsors and your win. Your twitter user name may be mentioned here to promote further competitions.

You can only win a particular prize once and only one prize in any month. That could mean you win the £50 voucher one month, but not the next. However, you could win an item of clothing for the most hits for your next submission, but not the £50 voucher.
